Career Accelerator Program

The Career Accelerator Program is designed to help international students develop practical employability skills and prepare for the transition from university to professional work.

Program Overview

The program combines interactive in‑person bootcamps, online webinars and a final hackathon where students apply their learning to a real business challenge.

Students who actively engage in the program will also be considered for a 12‑week professional internship opportunity that can contribute towards university unit credit.

Eligibility

To participate in the program students must:

  • Be an international student currently studying in Western Australia.
  • Be enrolled at a participating university (Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, Notre Dame University, The University of Western Australia). 
  • Hold a valid student visa.

Program Structure and Key Dates

The program is delivered over several months and includes a combination of skill-building sessions and applied learning experiences. These sessions are designed to help students understand the Australian workplace, develop professional confidence and prepare for graduate recruitment processes.

Students must participate in at least 2 Bootcamps, 1 Webinar, and the Hackathon to be considered for the 12-week internship.
